\t\t<\/p>\n Prince Harry<\/strong><\/a> is cracking some jokes about growing up in the Royal Family.<\/p>\n On Friday (December 5), the 41-year-old Duke of Sussex was a distinguished guest and speaker at the British-American Business Council\u2019s 65th Annual Christmas Luncheon<\/em><\/strong> in Santa Monica, Calif.<\/p>\n During his speech, Harry<\/strong> compared his life in the Royal Family to Downton Abbey<\/strong><\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u201cPeople sometimes ask if growing up with the royal family was a bit like [show creator] Julian\u2019s [Fellowes] Downton Abbey<\/em>,\u2019 Harry <\/strong>said, per People<\/a><\/em>. \u201cYeah, but only one of those worlds is filled with drama, intrigue, elaborate dinners [and] marriages to Americans \u2014 and the other is a TV show.\u201d <\/p>\n On a more serious note, Harry<\/strong> talked about living in the United States as a British citizen.<\/p>\n \u201cFor me, being British isn\u2019t about where you physically stand, but what you stand for,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Harry<\/strong> also shared that celebrating the Fourth of July has been a new experience for him.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a new world to me, celebrating independence from Britain, and more specifically, independence from my great, great, great, great, great, great-grandfather,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n Prince Harry<\/strong> also recently appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/em> where he threw a dig<\/a> at Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
