Megadeth will release their self-titled final album<\/a>, featuring a cover of Metallica<\/a>\u2018s \u201cRide the Lightning.\u201d Band leader Dave Mustaine wrote part of the song before Metallica fired him<\/a> in 1983.<\/p>\n Squeeze\u2019s new album Trixies<\/em> features material written by Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook before the group\u2019s first album arrived. A pending 4CD set will commemorate the 40th anniversary of the self-titled 1985 debut by the Power Station, a supergroup that included singer Robert Palmer<\/a>, Tony Thompson of Chic and Duran Duran<\/a>\u2018s John Taylor and Andy Taylor<\/a>.<\/p>\n Hopes for promised albums by Beach Boys<\/a> legend Brian Wilson<\/a> (Cows in the Pasture<\/em>) and former Kiss<\/a> co-founder Ace Frehley<\/a> (Origins, Vol. 3<\/em>) may have been dashed when they both died in 2025.
