<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\nVeteran actor Satish Shah<\/a> passed away on Saturday, October 25th at his Bandra residence due to kidney failure. The actor had undergone a kidney transplant three months ago. As fans mourn his demise, people who have worked with him are deeply shocked. They’ve expressed grief towards his death while also sharing anecdotes about him. While Shah is remembered for a number of movies like ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’, ‘Umrao Jaan’, ‘Main Hoon Na’, ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’, ‘Hum Aapke Hai Koun..’ and television shows like ‘Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi’ and the iconic ‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai’. His last rites are taking place at Pawan Hans crematorium and many celebs who’ve been Shah’s close associates have arrived to pay their respects to the late actor. His mortal remains were first kept at his house from 10 am to 11 am on October 26. Sumeet Raghavan<\/a> who played his son in ‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai’ was the first one to arrive. Meanwhile, one also saw Rupali Ganguly<\/a> at his house and she looked visibly heartbroken with teary eyes. Meanwhile, celebs also have begun to arrive at the cremation ground. Naseeruddin Shah who worked with Satish Shah in ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’ as seen arriving for the funeral with his son Vivaan Shah. Ratna Pathak Shah was also present to pay her respects to her ‘Sarabhai…’ co-star Satish. <\/p>\n Supriya Pathak was seen arriving with husband Pankaj Kapur and their daughter Sanah Kapur. Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh was also seen at arriving at the funeral. Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal from ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ who worked with Satish Shah on ‘Hum Aapke Hai Koun…’ also arrived. ‘Main Hoon Na’ director Farah Khan was also seen at the cremetorium. <\/p>\n Other celebs who came in to pay tribute to Satish Shah, included David Dhawan, Rumi Jaffery, Poonam Dhillon, Tiku Talsania, Ali Asgar among others. Many celebs also expressed grief as he passed away on social media. PM Narendra Modi called him a ‘true legend’, as he expressed, “Deeply saddened by the passing of Shri Satish Shah Ji. He will be remembered as a true legend of Indian entertainment. His effortless humour and iconic performances brought laughter into countless lives. Condolences to his family and admirers.
