KARNIVOOL<\/strong> have released a new song!<\/p>\n The new song, titled Opal<\/strong>, is taken from the Australian progressive rock band\u2019s upcoming album In Verses<\/strong><\/a>, which will be released in February next year, via Cymatic Records\/Sony Music<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Speaking about the new single, guitarist Drew Goddard<\/strong> shares, \u201cOpal<\/strong>\u00a0pulls together ideas from some of my earliest days writing with the band. The riff in the middle and end was actually the first thing I recorded in the Themata era, on a computer at my parents\u2019 house. Twenty years later, it found its place here. Jon dug it up, and we made it feel more current. The verse that starts with \u2018You\u2019ve been holding up\u2026\u2019 was a section left off Aeons from Asymmetry<\/strong>. The whole track came together in a way we\u2019ve never really experienced before \u2013 these old, separate ideas suddenly just fell into place.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Listen to Opal here:<\/strong><\/p>\n
