Earlier this year, duendita, a New York artist whose music fits into no particular genre bucket, released the album-length project a strong desire to survive<\/a><\/em> and then followed it with the singles “piel<\/a>,” “bassline<\/a>,” and “big one<\/a>.” Today, duendita drops another new track.<\/p>\n “uplifted one,” duendita’s latest single, is an extremely brief but ecstatic piece of music. It’s less than a minute and a half long, but it doesn’t need more time than that to establish a fizzy, euphoric feeling. The music is soulfully skittering indie-pop, presented without frills.
