{"id":2192962,"date":"2025-12-10T00:10:16","date_gmt":"2025-12-10T00:10:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/?p=2192962"},"modified":"2025-12-10T00:10:16","modified_gmt":"2025-12-10T00:10:16","slug":"star-studded-roast-of-new-jersey-is-coming-to-n-j-theater-jeff-ross-hosting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/star-studded-roast-of-new-jersey-is-coming-to-n-j-theater-jeff-ross-hosting\/","title":{"rendered":"Star-studded \u2018Roast of New Jersey\u2019 is coming to N.J. theater, Jeff Ross hosting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"P2GPZA2QM5BT5NAS4SSB7TWSXY\">The Count Basie Center for the Arts will host the first-ever \u201cRoast of New Jersey\u201d on Saturday, Feb. 28, bringing together comedians, television personalities, and sports figures for a night of jokes aimed at the Garden State.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"CNQBZIC5UFFSXGZFSPRF3QGYEU\">Jeff Ross, known as the \u201cRoastmaster General\u201d for his work on Comedy Central Roasts, will host the one-night event at the historic theater in Red Bank. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"GIJUMXTJERETPG32DK54AUDSCU\">The comedy lineup also includes Joey \u201cCoco\u201d Diaz, known for his role in \u201cThe Many Saints of Newark\u201d and his \u201cUncle Joey\u2019s Joint\u201d podcast, and Brian \u201cQ\u201d Quinn from \u201cImpractical Jokers.\u201d Former New York Giants running back and current WFAN radio host Tiki Barber will also take part.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"2SK2X27MMBCGPOCAZGZUBEUOSM\">Other performers scheduled to appear are Rich Vos, Chris Gethard, Bonnie McFarlane, Donnell Rawlings, Natalie Cuomo, Chris Covert, \u201cReal Housewives of New Jersey\u201d star Joe Gorga, and Vinnie Brand, owner of the Stress Factory comedy club in New Brunswick.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"ROFX6BPK2VEYBCM5SEKR55PJDI\">A mystery guest will close out the evening by defending New Jersey.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"YLONRAQ3NJAJ7J25OYFCJZTOMQ\">The event is part of the Count Basie Center\u2019s centennial celebration marking the 100th anniversary of the theater on Nov. 11, 2026.
