\u201cIf this woman was robbed at gunpoint by a bunch of dudes and they threw her in a bathtub and tied her up, or whatever they did \u2026 I mean that is a f\u2013king \u2014 that is frigtening,\u201d he said at the time.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf it is a farce, then really they should go to jail for that,\u201d the media personality continued, clarifying that he didn\u2019t think it was fake.<\/p>\n\u201cSo, we went back and looked up what I said, and nothing could be further from the truth,\u201d he added before replaying a clip from 2016. YouTube\/@howardstern<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nIn the throwback clip, Stern said he didn\u2019t believe the robbery was a hoax. YouTube\/@howardstern<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nStern joked that the \u201cone time the Kardashians don\u2019t have a camera, something interesting happens.\u201d<\/p>\n
After replaying the video, the radio show host told Quivers that he would \u201ccharacterize that discussion as a very fair assessment\u201d of some people saying the robbery was faked.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd we said, \u2018We don\u2019t think it\u2019s fake. We think that she went through something horrible. Some guys came into her room and threw her in a bathtub and pointed a gun at her,’\u201d he explained. \u201cAnd I said, \u2018That\u2019s really frightening.’\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI have said so many awful things in my career, you don\u2019t need to make up stuff. You can certainly find every awful thing I\u2019ve said. It\u2019s no secret,\u201d Stern added.<\/p>\n
