She made a post with regard to the same after attending Post Malone\u2019s concert.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cConcerts in India aren\u2019t safe for women,\u201d she continued. \u201cAs two women in the crowd, both me and Amina (another travel influencer) were touched without consent within minutes of entering the packed area. After just 10 minutes, we had to force our way out and move to the back near the vendors because we no longer felt safe. Sadly because of what happened we were no longer able to enjoy the concert.\u201d\n<\/p>\n She was made uncomfortable and was shaken by the behaviour that she had to experience. The alleged harassment wasn\u2019t reported immediately, but the police did eventually get involved.\n<\/p>\n The influencer elaborated on how there is a difference between flowing in the crowd and the kind of shoves and pushes she had to experience. She focused on why concerts should be for everyone to enjoy and not just one half of society.\n<\/p>\n \u201cThis isn\u2019t \u2018normal crowd pushing.\u2019 It\u2019s part of a wider issue of violence against women and the way harassment is minimised in public spaces. No concert, no matter how big, should make women choose between enjoying the music and guarding their bodies.\u201d\n<\/p>\n \u201cUnfortunately, they did not raise a complaint instantly and report the incident either to the police who were present at the concert venue or to the organisers. This lapse of time makes it a little difficult, but we are looking into the matter,\u201d DCP Mrinal Deka.\n<\/p>\n The police got involved after seeing the post and addressed the issue.
