Deftones<\/a> have sponsored their local youth football team, and launched a limited-edition line of new shirts. Find all the details below.<\/p>\n The US metal band teamed up with GOAL Projects<\/a> to sponsor the grassroots club Los Jaguares, from their hometown of Sacramento, California.<\/p>\n \u201cWe designed some custom jerseys and a soccer ball that will become part of the kids\u2019 official kits in the new year,\u201d Deftones wrote to announce the partnership.<\/p>\n \u201cSales of the collection support Los Jaguares, a team of boys and girls ages 11-14 from Oak Park \u2013 the same neighbourhood that shaped us. Every order helps keep soccer free for the kids and supports programs that help them on and off the field.\u201d<\/p>\n Fans can get their hands on a black Deftones soccer jersey, featuring Deftones\u2019 band logo on the front. The back of the shirt has \u201cSacto\u201d as the name, above the number \u201c10\u201d.<\/p>\n There is also a long-sleeved green Deftones football jersey, with a different version of the group\u2019s logo on the front.<\/p>\n \u201cYour purchase helps guarantee soccer remains free for every player, while providing vital access to fields, quality coaching, and healthy snacks,\u201d the listings read.<\/p>\n Both shirts are priced at \u00a369.00. They are expected to ship within three to four weeks of purchase (black jersey), and two to four weeks of purchase (green).
