Here are some of the other businesses that have recently opened or are planning to open in the coming months:<\/p>\n Handmade Holiday Store<\/strong><\/p>\n A temporary seasonal shop full of handmade\u00a0goods called Handmade Holiday Store<\/strong><\/a> returned to Lindale Mall ahead of the holiday season on November 1st. The store features all sorts of gifts and decor from local artisans and businesses, including\u00a0Tabor Home Winery<\/strong>, Beau Laundry Co.<\/strong>, The Blue Strawberry<\/strong>, Doggone Tasty Treat Company<\/strong>, Elsie’s Kitchen<\/strong>,\u00a0Kalico Kreations<\/strong>,\u00a0LineDrive Outfitters, and more. Taking over the space is Auntie Anne’s<\/strong><\/a>, another soft pretzel chain and shopping mall staple. Auntie Anne’s hasn’t opened their Lindale location<\/a> just yet, but the website says\u00a0they’re expected to begin welcoming customers sometime this month (December 2025).<\/p>\n I Love Mochi<\/strong><\/p>\n If you’ve been to Coral Ridge Mall<\/strong><\/a> in Coralville in the last year or so, then you may have spotted a\u00a0vendor by the name of\u00a0I Love Mochi<\/strong><\/a>. The\u00a0food vendor\u00a0opened in October of 2024<\/a> and offers items like mochi donuts and ice cream, Korean corn dogs, chicken poppers, and\u00a0fruit lemon splashes.<\/p>\n According to Lindale Mall’s website<\/a>, I Love Mochi is going to be opening a\u00a0new location early next year here in Cedar Rapids! There are no additional details at this time, other than the fact that it’s expected to open in February of 2026. We can’t wait! I’ve tried their donuts and their Korean corn dogs, and I’m a BIG fan.<\/p>\n Dick’s House of Sport<\/strong><\/p>\n And finally, we have Dick’s House of Sport<\/strong><\/a>. If you drive by the 1st Ave side of Lindale Mall, you can see that construction on Dick’s House of Sport is well underway. It’s going into the space that was previously home to Sears<\/strong><\/a>, which has\u00a0sat empty since 2018. According to an article from the Cedar Rapids Gazette<\/strong><\/a>:<\/p>\n “In addition to a full line of sports equipment, the new Dick\u2019s House of Sport will include an outdoor year-round, multiuse field, wall climbing, golf simulator, and other amenities.”<\/em><\/p>\n As of right now, Lindale Mall’s website<\/a> says that Dick’s House of Sport is expected to open in June of 2026.<\/p>\nAbout Razzle Dazzle<\/h3>\n
