Zac Efron thinks some viewers misunderstood his viral moment on season 34 of \u201cDancing With the Stars.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n The 38-year-old \u201cHigh School Musical\u201d star sat in the audience for a November episode of the reality competition series to support his brother Dylan Efron<\/a>. After the judges gave Dylan and his pro partner Daniella Karagach a 27 out of 30, Zac was seen asking, \u201cIs that a good score?\u201d<\/p>\n The clip circulated on social media, with many fans joking that Zac seemed to have very little knowledge of the show.<\/p>\n \u201cHe doesn\u2019t even know where he is I\u2019m crying,\u201d one person commented on a TikTok <\/a>video of Zac\u2019s comments.<\/p>\n \u201cTell me you\u2019ve never watched DWTS without telling me,\u201d another viewer chimed in.<\/p>\n Dylan, 33, defended his big brother during a Tuesday, Dec. 9, appearance on the \u201cSmith Sisters Live\u201d podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI actually did speak to Zac about this \u2026 because I thought it was funny, but then Zac was like, \u2018Oh, no, they\u2019re misinterpreting it,\u2019\u201d Dylan said. \u201cI think he said that he thought it was a really good dance, so he was [wondering] is that the highest score they would give? \u2026 I think he was more like, \u2018That should\u2019ve been higher.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Dylan added that Zac \u201cgot defensive\u201d because some \u201cDancing With the Stars\u201d fans <\/a>\u201cmisinterpreted what [he] meant.\u201d <\/p>\n While Zac has sung and danced in films including \u201cHairspray\u201d and the \u201cHigh School Musical\u201d franchise, Dylan is new to dancing. His 5-year-old sister Olivia danced with him during Dedication Night<\/a> in October.<\/p>\n Dylan and his pro partner, Daniella Karagach, placed fourth during the Nov. 25 season finale.
