JD Vance<\/a> found an interesting way to respond to a photograph that appeared to show the vice president arguing with his wife, Usha Vance<\/a>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The tweet and picture (which has not been verified, though celebrity.land has reached out to the White House) show the vice president in a white shirt, while his wife looks down. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The tweet reads, \u201cJD and Usha (allegedly) spotted having a loud argument at a restaurant recently.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The \u201cHillbilly Elegy\u201d author responded to the tweet and perhaps hinted at its lack of authenticity with his response. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cI always wear an undershirt when I go out in public to have a fight loudly with my wife,\u201d he wrote on X. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The pair\u2019s relationship has been the subject of scrutiny recently, as headlines began circulating after the vice president shared what appeared to be an especially intimate hug with Erika Kirk at her husband\u2019s funeral. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Speculation intensified after Usha Vance was photographed without her engagement and wedding ring<\/a> in November.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A spokesperson for the second lady denied the rumors, telling People magazine<\/a> that she is \u201ca mother of three young children, who does a lot of dishes, gives lots of baths, and forgets her ring sometimes.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The vice president later told NBC News<\/a> that he and his wife get a \u201ckick out of\u201d the rumors that circulate. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWith anything in life, you take the good with the bad,\u201d he told the outlet on Dec. 5. \u201cYou accept that there are some sacrifices and there are some very good things that come along with it, too. But our marriage is as strong as it\u2019s ever been, and I think Usha\u2019s really taken to it, and it\u2019s been kind of cool to see how she\u2019s developed and evolved in this new role.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
