A spokesperson for the Boca Raton Police Department confirmed Spodick’s cause of death as suicide, but indicated that the case is still open. No further details are available.<\/p>\n
The social fundraising platform will help his mother, Felice Harwood, cover funeral expenses and other unexpected bills related to his death. The GoFundMe page said: \u201cOur hearts are shattered as we share the devastating news of the loss of our beautiful, kind, and generous son, brother and friend Chad. His passing was sudden and heartbreaking, and we are still struggling to comprehend a world without his light.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The statement described Spodick as a deeply caring person who devoted himself to supporting others, adding that his mother is facing “unimaginable grief” following his passing.<\/p>\n
