Johnny Depp<\/a>\u2019s comeback continues apace, with the actor set to produce the first English-language feature adaptation of Mikhail Bulgakov<\/a>\u2019s masterpiece The Master and Margarita<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The news was announced at Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday. Depp appeared at the festival to promote the project that is backed by his production company In.2 Film<\/a> as well as producers Svetlana Dali<\/a> and Grace Loh<\/a>. In.2\u2019s Stephen Deuters<\/a> and Stephen Malit<\/a> will also produce. The film will be produced in collaboration with Tribune Pictures<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Executive producers on the project include Nevin Shalit<\/a>, Andrew Fourman<\/a>, World Visions\u2019 Konstantin Elkin<\/a>, Tribune Pictures\u2019 Michael Paletta<\/a> and the late Michael Lang<\/a>.<\/p>\n

No director is attached to the project and no casting details were revealed, though the film is set to go into production in late 2026.<\/p>\n

Written in the Soviet Union between 1928 and 1940, Bulgakov\u2019s satirical and fantastical novel The Master and Margarita<\/a>…<\/p>\n
