The comedy world has said goodbye to one of their own. <\/span><\/p>\n

Comedian and voice actor <\/span>Jeff <\/span>Garcia, who was best known for lending his voice to cartoons such as “The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron,” “Boy Genius,” “Barnyard” and “Happy Feet,” died on Dec. 10, his son confirmed on <\/span>Instagram<\/span><\/a>. He was 50. <\/span><\/p>\n

“My father was a unique soul,\u201d Jojo <\/span>Garcia wrote in a <\/span>joint Instagram post<\/span><\/a> with his father\u2019s account Dec. 10. \u201cHe was unapologetically himself and I will always admire the love, compassion, and drive that he had.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Jojo \u2014 a comedian himself \u2014 shared a carousel of photos with Garcia, adding that his father taught him so much and shared advice that Jojo lives “by every single day.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHe was a Father, Son, Uncle, Cousin, Brother, but most of all, he was my best friend,\u201d Jojo continued. \u201cI would call him every day. I would tell him about the plans I had in comedy and my life. He believed in me, in a way that nobody else did.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He also praised his father\u2019s comedian talents, writing that Garcia<\/span> was \u201ctruly one of a kind.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cFrom voice acting to stand up comedy, he shined with his quick wit, brash humor, and charm,\u201d Jojo wrote. \u201cHe has made such an impact on people\u2019s lives internationally, whether you grew up watching <\/span>Jimmy Neutron<\/span>, or shared a laugh with him at one of his shows. He was my hero\u2026 I idolized him.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Garcia<\/span> \u2014 who was also dad to daughter <\/span>Savannah \u2014 was well known in both the comedy world and the voice acting world, performing in comedy clubs around California. He most recently voiced his “Jimmy Neutron” character Sheen Estevez in the 2025 video game “Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny.<\/span>“<\/p>\n

Jojo \u2014 whose mother is Garcia<\/span><\/span>‘s ex-wife <\/span>Lisa <\/span>Garcia \u2014 did not confirm his father\u2019s cause of death, but in the comments thanked fans for their kind words and asked for privacy for himself and his family \u201cduring this difficult time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

And although Garcia<\/span> is gone, his son is positive his dad\u2019s legacy will never be forgotten. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHe lives on through our family and friends he loved so dearly, along with the legacy he has created,\u201d Jojo <\/span>concluded<\/span>. \u201cI know you\u2019re in heaven smiling down and you\u2019re in a better place now.
