Missouri man Christopher Brayton<\/strong> was recently arrested after police say he broke into a residence he previously shared with his ex-girlfriend before allegedly climbing into her bed and attacking her.<\/p>\n

Brayton, 31, was charged with domestic assault for his involvement in two separate domestic violence incidents that took place on two different days in October, according to court documents viewed by Law & Crime News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He appeared in court on Monday, December 8, regarding the October incidents, according to a probable cause statement<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cVictim stated she was sleeping in her bed on the morning of 10\/16\/2025, and at approximately 8 a.m., she felt someone touch her and state, \u2018I\u2019m home,’\u201d the statement read. \u201cVictim observed Christopher lying next to her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police said that Brayton\u2019s ex obtained an order of protection against him and she forced him to move out of their home after they broke up. That same day, he showed up to the residence and hid her cellphone so \u201cshe couldn\u2019t call 911,\u201d according to the probable cause statement.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tZachery Ty Bryan was arrested earlier this week following an alleged physical domestic dispute with an unnamed woman \u2014 and Us Weekly has learned that he contacted police in Eugene, Oregon, months prior about an alleged incident with fianc\u00e9e Johnnie Faye Cartwright. According to a Eugene Police Department 911 dispatch report obtained by Us, Bryan, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The statement added that he \u201cwould not let her leave the bedroom for hours.\u201d<\/p>\n

The woman eventually managed to escape the bedroom. However, Brayton caught up to her and began attacking her.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Brayton] followed her and placed his feet in front of her and pushed her, causing her to fall to the ground,\u201d the probable cause statement said. \u201c[The woman] stated she got back up, at which time Christopher grabbed her under her armpits and lifted her up and threw her to the ground. \u2026 Christopher then got on top of her while she was on her back and held one of her hands behind her back and placed his other hand around the front of her neck, causing her to not be able to breathe.\u201d<\/p>\n

The report claimed that Brayton threatened \u201cto kill\u201d the woman. She eventually managed to find her phone and called 911, and Brayton was taken into custody by police when they arrived.<\/p>\n

In addition to this recent incident, Brayton has another case pending in court after he was charged with domestic assault following alleged incidents that took place on June 17 and July 3.<\/p>\n

Police said that the victim in the October attacks was the same victim he attacked during the June and July incidents. During the alleged June assault, he woke up \u201cin a manic mood\u201d and began to argue with her, according to the case\u2019s probable cause statement<\/a>.<\/p>\n
