Musician Camryn Magness<\/strong>, who toured with One Direction, Cody Simpson<\/strong> and other acts, has died at the age of 26.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of our beloved Camryn, a radiant force whose voice, coy and bright spirit touched so many,\u201d a statement from Magness\u2019 Facebook page<\/span><\/a> read on Tuesday, December 9. \u201cWhether beneath the waves or on stage, she met life with fearless energy and boundless kindness. In the quiet between waves, her memory will surface \u2014 bright, bold, unforgotten. Rest in endless blue, our sweet girl. You are deeply loved and forever cherished.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement concluded by asking fans to keep the singer\u2019s family and friends in prayer as they navigate \u201cthis difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCamryn will live on in our hearts forever,\u201d the post concluded.<\/p>\n

While an official cause of death has yet to be revealed, Camryn\u2019s mother, Sarah Magness<\/strong>, told TMZ<\/span><\/a> that she died after being hit while riding an electric scooter in Miami, Florida.<\/p>\n

According to an online obituary<\/span><\/a>, Camryn died on December 5 and was a \u201cvibrant, fearless and deeply loved young woman whose compassion, humor and bright spirit touched every person blessed to know her.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the time of her death, she was engaged to Christian Name<\/strong>. Together, they were raising two dogs named Brooklyn and Zeppelin.<\/p>\n
