<\/figure>\nChillicothe<\/em> \u2014 In addition to the annual \u201cHoliday Pops Spectacular<\/a>\u201d this coming Sunday afternoon, other events are happening this weekend and next week as the holiday season progresses. Among them:<\/p>\n The Chillicothe Civic Theatre<\/a> presents a \u201cBroadway Version\u201d of \u201cA Christmas Carol\u201d at 7:00 Friday and Saturday night, and 2pm Sunday.<\/p>\n Starting at noon Saturday in Chillicothe\u2019s Greenlawn Cemetery, the Nathaniel Massie Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution<\/a> will recognize about 1,200 veterans by saying the veteran\u2019s name, thanking him or her for their service, and laying a wreath on their gravesite as a part of \u201cWreaths Across America.\u201d<\/p>\n From noon to 5pm Saturday is the Ross County Historical Society\u2019s \u201cHoliday Open House\u201d<\/a> with festive treats, holiday crafts, and the one-of-a-kind Scherenchnitte tree \u2013 along with an opportunity to explore the 2025 rotating exhibits before they\u2019re gone. Before then is \u201cBreakfast with Santa\u201d at 10am, though reservations are required. <\/p>\n The Lucy Hayes Heritage Center at 90 West 6th Street has a Christmas Open House and Nativity Scene Exhibit from 1 to 4pm Saturday \u2013 and then their annual anniversary dinner honoring the 1852 Hayes wedding banquet is 4 to 7pm on Saturday, December 20th.<\/p>\n On Tuesday, December 16, the Majestic Theatre hosts the traditional \u201cChristmas with John Berry\u201d in his 29th Annual Tour.<\/p>\n On Thursday, the Majestic again hosts the 41st Annual \u201cRock for Tots\u201d concert and charity auction that supports 35 children\u2019s charities, two college scholarships, and a college endowment program.<\/p>\n The Chillicothe Trolley offers a free \u201cDowntown Holiday Lights Tour<\/a>\u201d through \u201cShine On\u201d in Yoctangee Park from 6 to 8:30pm Mondays through Fridays until December 19th.<\/p>\n The city is also hosting the 2025 Holiday Lights Contest<\/a> where you can visit addresses on your own and cast your vote for the \u201cRockwell,\u201d \u201cGriswold,\u201d and \u201cTech-mas\u201d categories.
