{"id":2196390,"date":"2025-12-12T15:00:06","date_gmt":"2025-12-12T15:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/?p=2196390"},"modified":"2025-12-12T15:00:06","modified_gmt":"2025-12-12T15:00:06","slug":"is-timothee-chalamet-uk-rapper-esdeekid-all-will-be-revealed-actor-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/is-timothee-chalamet-uk-rapper-esdeekid-all-will-be-revealed-actor-says\/","title":{"rendered":"Is Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet UK rapper EsDeeKid? &#8216;All will be revealed,&#8217; actor says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F2%2F2025%2F12%2Fchalamet-77.jpg?quality%3D90%26strip%3Dall\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>He played young Bob Dylan, young Willy Wonka, and now he could be a young rapper.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Timothee Chalamet broke his silence about the rumors that he secretly moonlights as British rapper EsDeeKid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI got no comment on that,\u201d the \u201cMarty Supreme\u201d actor said during an appearance on \u201cHart Breakfast\u201d on Thursday. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Timothee Chalamet on \u201cHart Breakfast.\u201d  <span class=\"credit\">Heart\/Youtube<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>EsDeeKid, the British rapper who covers his face.  <span class=\"credit\">esdeekid\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The rapper, who has a Liverpool accent, covers his face with a balaclava and hasn\u2019t revealed details about his identity, such as his age or real name.\u00a0The hosts pointed out that the sliver of his face around his eyes that he\u2019s shown has a resemblance to Chalamet, which has sparked the rumors. <\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>The \u201cA Complete Unknown\u201d actor coyly replied, \u201cTwo words: All will be revealed in due time.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Chalamet then quipped, \u201cThat was a little more than two words.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If Chalamet, 28, was secretly a rapper, it wouldn\u2019t be unprecedented, as he <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=1Ck8fv6iW3E\">put on a show as \u201cLil Timmy Tim<\/a>\u201d when he was attending Laguardia High School in New York City.\u00a0He made a rap song about statistics for a class project at the time.<\/p>\n<p>The question posed to Chalamet follows months of speculation that he could be the mysterious rapper.<\/p>\n<p>EsDeeKid released his debut album, \u201cRebel,\u201d in June, and per Spotify, he has 11.5 million monthly listeners.\u00a0It includes 11 track lists with such song titles as \u201c4 Raws,\u201d \u201cCali Man,\u201d \u201cPrague,\u201d \u201cDirty\u201d and \u201cRottweiler.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Post has reached out to Spotify for comment.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>EsDeeKid, the British rapper.  <span class=\"credit\">esdeekid\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He\u2019s also previously rapped during an appearance on \u201cSaturday Night Live.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In a 2021 episode, he <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=3sxRAeh8f7w\">played a rap duo with Pete Davidson<\/a>, sporting\u00a0a face tattoo.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, his acting career is ramping up, as his movie \u201cMarty Supreme\u201d released Dec. 25. Directed by Josh Safdie and co-starring Gwyneth Paltrow, it\u2019s a period piece sports drama set in the \u201850s, about a ping pong player.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet and Kylie Jenner attend the Los Angeles Premiere of A24\u2019s \u201cMarty Supreme\u201d at Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, California, on December 8, 2025. <span class=\"credit\">FilmMagic<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Post movie critic Johnny Oleksinski <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/12\/01\/entertainment\/marty-supreme-review-timothee-chalamet-wins-in-the-best-movie-of-the-year\/\">called it<\/a> \u201cthe best movie of the year.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Between starring in movies, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/12\/09\/style\/kylie-jenner-and-timothee-chalamets-orange-marty-supreme-premiere-outfits-what-they-mean\/\">dating Kylie Jenner,<\/a> 28, and pursuing \u201cgreatness,\u201d it\u2019s unclear when Chalamet would have time to tour Europe with a rap career, but he\u2019s an overachiever.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In recent comments, Chalamet said, \u201cThis is probably my best performance,\u201d per a <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@screenshothq\/video\/7582544126843882774?lang=en\">TikTok<\/a> clip shared by Screenshot HQ, adding, \u201cand it\u2019s been like seven, eight years that I feel like I\u2019ve been handing in really, really committed, top-of-the-line performances.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cIt\u2019s important to say it out loud because the discipline and the work ethic I\u2019m bringing to these things, I don\u2019t want people to take for granted. I don\u2019t want to take for granted.
