This involves them exploring the island by scanning codes on wooden sculptures around the destination that will tell immersive ecological stories.<\/p>\n<p>Children can learn about native species on the island, including fish, flora and fauna, and there will also be Lego-themed activities at the Welcome Pavilion when guests arrive at the island.<\/p>\n<p>Guests can enjoy private Caribbean islands from a range of cruise lines.<\/p>\n<p>Disney Cruise Line passengers can visit Castaway Cay.<\/p>\n<p>Royal Caribbean has its own private island called CocoCay and is developing another in Mexico for 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Norwegian Cruise Line has a private Caribbean island for guests called <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/travel\/news-and-advice\/norwegian-private-caribbean-island-upgrades-b2801458.html\">Great Stirrup Cay,<\/a> which is getting a new waterpark for summer 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Carnival Cruise Line opened<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/travel\/news-and-advice\/carnival-cruise-line-private-island-b2704923.html\"> Celebration Key<\/a> in July 2025 and also has the north of <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/travel\/news-and-advice\/carnival-holland-america-line-rebrand-private-island-b2665134.html\">Half Moon Cay,<\/a> which hit shares with Holland America Line.<\/p>\n<p>Guests on Holland America Line Caribbean routes often visit the south of Half Moon Cay.
