The standalone track is the band&#8217;s first new music since releasing their latest album, <i>Ascension<\/i>, back in September via <strong>Nuclear Blast Records<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Vocalist <strong>Nick Holmes<\/strong> shared:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8216;Salvation&#8217; embraces the belief in a higher power and seeking forgiveness for a lifetime of transgression, typically prompted by the approach of death or a significant crisis&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>However, the video, and given that it is Christmas, takes perhaps a more optimistic view.
