Things are constantly changing inside Disney\u2019s theme parks. From exciting new rides and attractions to large-scale hotel overhauls, guests can always expect to see and do something new during their vacations.<\/p>\n

However, one of the biggest changes involves the actual cost of a Disney trip.<\/p>\n

Prices have steadily increased across Disney\u2019s theme parks year over year, but the last decade has been especially impactful on guests\u2019 bottom line. From park tickets to merchandise and food, the cost of actually visiting Disneyland and Walt Disney World<\/a> has never been higher.<\/p>\n

However, pricing out visitors isn\u2019t something Disney seems too worried about, as the company announced a wave of new increases earlier this year. This announcement came amid a larger wave of news about upcoming rides, attractions, and expansions to Walt Disney World and Disneyland.<\/p>\n

Alongside more expensive food, drink, and snack options, merchandise, park tickets, and annual passes all got a bump in their price.<\/p>\n

On its busiest day this year, the Magic Kingdom will be priced at over $200 per person. Guests already saw price hikes hit the parks at the start of the year, with Disney World confirming its annual Mickey\u2019s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party would see an increase over 2024.<\/p>\n

Disneyland specifically has gotten rid of a considerable amounts live entertainment in recent years, affecting everything from superhero shows to Pixar events.<\/p>\n

Guests have been critical of the rising cost of Disney\u2019s parks for years, though now seems like an especially fiery time for the community, with numerous projects taking place across Disneyland and Walt Disney World.<\/p>\n

These resorts will expand in significant ways over the coming years, but it\u2019s out with the old, in with the new, as several fan-favorite experiences will close forever. Fans already saw classics like Tom Sawyer Island and Muppet*Vision 3D shut down for good in 2025, bit 2026 is shaping up to be just as impactful.<\/p>\n
