Billy Ray Cyrus<\/a>\u2019 ex-wife, Firerose, recently shared a montage of old clips from their relationship \u2014 and the video was in no way endearing.<\/p>\n In a scathing Instagram video<\/a> posted on Dec. 4, the Australian singer called out the \u201cAchy Breaky Heart\u201d singer for his behavior during their seven-month marriage.<\/p>\n \u201cIn your 20s, you\u2019ll meet a 49-year-old man who convinces you you\u2019re his soulmate,\u201d Firerose, whose real name is Johanna Rose Hodge, wrote in the video.<\/p>\n Beginning with images of her in her 20s, the video then cuts to photos and clips of her and Cyrus holding each other, with text that read: \u201cIt\u2019s very important that you don\u2019t believe him.\u201d<\/p>\n Other images followed that showed Firerose crying alone as her relationship with Cyrus progressed.<\/p>\n The video, which was cross-posted to YouTube, was set to a mashup of Billy Joel\u2019s \u201cPiano Man\u201d and Fleetwood Mac\u2019s \u201cSilver Springs,\u201d the latter of which Stevie Nicks famously wrote about the end of her relationship with bandmate Lindsey Buckingham.<\/p>\n In the caption, Firerose shared more details regarding what she experienced while with Cyrus.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you\u2019ve survived narcissistic abuse, you\u2019re not alone. It\u2019s chilling how similar survivors\u2019 experiences really are. Behind closed doors, it\u2019s always the same playbook,\u201d she began. \u201cControl, isolation, rage, manipulation, walking on eggshells, cognitive dissonance, feeling like the only person in the world that can be experiencing what you are. But I promise, God sees everything and there is a light at the end of the tunnel.\u201d<\/p>\n She included the hashtags #narcissisticabuse and #survivors.<\/p>\n Firerose, 37, married Cyrus, 64, in October 2023. They filed for divorce in June 2024, citing irreconcilable differences and alleging fraud. However, they first met on the set of \u201cHannah Montana\u201d when Firerose was in her early 20s, and Cyrus was in his late 40s.<\/p>\n In the comment section of Firerose\u2019s video, fans praised her for sharing her story. \u201cI love that women are publicly calling out their abusers in the 2020s and posting their faces,\u201d wrote one person.<\/p>\n Another said, \u201cThis took an immeasurable amount of courage. Sending you love and hugs.\u201d<\/p>\n This isn\u2019t the first time someone has publicly lambasted the country music star. In June, Cyrus\u2019 son Trace Cyrus called the Disney Channel alum<\/a> out for skipping his grandma\u2019s funeral. <\/p>\n \u201cThis man is so hungry for fame it\u2019s pathetic.
