Russell Simmons<\/strong><\/a> has thoughts about his ex-wife, Kimora Lee Simmons<\/strong><\/a>, claiming that they don\u2019t have any type of relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cI gave you $50,000 a month for 20 years. I was your best \/only friend,\u201d Russell, 68, wrote via Threads<\/a> on Sunday, December 14. \u201cI\u2019m the godfather to your other three kids, until one day you stole my stock.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cI have been fighting for my kids\u2019 love and my bread ever since. You threatened that if I sued you, I would never speak to my kids again. There are two sides to every story.\u201d<\/p>\n

Russell\u2019s post comes shortly after Kimora, 50, claimed that she\u2019s not in touch with any of her children\u2019s fathers. Kimora and Russell share daughters Ming, 25, and Aoki, 23. The Baby Phat designer also shares son Kenzo, 16, with Djimon Hounsou<\/strong>, and son Wolfe, 10, with Tim Leissner<\/strong>. In addition, Kimora adopted son Gary<\/a>, 16, in 2020.<\/p>\n

\u201cUsually I would say that I coparent OK, but the kids are with me full-time,\u201d Kimora told People <\/i><\/a>in a Thursday, December 11, profile. \u201cI\u2019m pretty much the primary parent. It\u2019s difficult, but I don\u2019t know sometimes what other people are thinking. Guys are weird.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimora has not publicly addressed Russell\u2019s accusations. Us Weekly <\/i>has reached out for comment.<\/p>\n

Despite Russell claiming that he\u2019s unable to contact his daughters, Kimora has made it clear that she\u2019s never enforced such a rule.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s so weird because I think it used to be a little different,\u201d the Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane <\/i>star<\/a> said on the \u201cNot Skinny Not Fat\u201d podcast<\/a> earlier this month. \u201cThey\u2019re not involved. I\u2019m alone. They\u2019re not even really around, and they\u2019re welcome to be around \u2014 just to clarify for the record.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cThey\u2019re welcome to be around at their will and leisure. My kids are all big enough and old enough to have their own relationships and do their own things. It\u2019s not about me and all.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimora subsequently concurred with podcast host Amanda Hirsch<\/strong> that it is \u201ca loss\u201d for her kids to be estranged from their fathers.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know what they know, maybe they\u2019re intimidated,\u201d Kimora speculated of her exes. \u201cOr maybe they\u2019re, like, \u2018She\u2019s got it [and] I don\u2019t want to get in her way.\u2019 Maybe they\u2019re like, \u2018I don\u2019t like her.\u2019 I don\u2019t know. I think a lot goes through their head though about the other parent and less about the child. As a mother, you cannot imagine.\u201d<\/p>\n
