Every up-and-coming actor dreams of appearing in a major franchise to make a name for themselves in the Hollywood industry, but it doesn\u2019t always work out that way<\/b>. <\/p>\n
Josh Hutcherson<\/b>, who starred in the successful dystopian saga \u2018The Hunger Games\u2019 and recently dominated the box office with \u2018Five Nights at Freddy\u2019s 2\u2019, has spoken about the professional difficulties<\/b> he experienced with the end of the franchise created by Suzanne Collins: \u201cI never learned what rejection was. I only knew success<\/b>, from age 9 to 24,\u201d he explained on Jesse Tyler Ferguson\u2019s Dinner\u2019s On Me <\/i>podcast.<\/i><\/p>\n
After a prolific career as a child actor, which included titles such as \u2018The Polar Express\u2019, \u2018Journey to the Center of the Earth\u2019, and \u2018The Kids Are All Right\u2019, Hutcherson landed the role of Peeta Mellark at 18, which catapulted him to fame. \u201cThe industry is very complicated, because it tells you: \u2018You\u2019ve made it.<\/b> Now you\u2019re working with Jennifer Lawrence and Philip Seymour Hoffman, and you\u2019re in this movie that\u2019s making billions of dollars, you\u2019re the second lead,\u2019\u201d he recalls.<\/b><\/p>\n
And yet, he points out that in Hollywood, \u201chowever excited they are to introduce you, they don\u2019t want to give you anything else<\/b>\u201d: \u201cIt\u2019s very complicated.
