Cook, the former PC Music mastermind and longtime Charli XCX collaborator, is one of the many famous people in <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stereogum.com\/2325936\/charli-xcx-reveals-the-moment-cast-including-kylie-jenner-rachel-sennott-alexander-skarsgard\/news\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the cast of <em>The Moment<\/em><\/a>, the upcoming mockumentary film about Charli&#8217;s <em>Brat<\/em> era. (Charli just shared the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stereogum.com\/2482660\/watch-the-trailer-for-charli-xcxs-brat-mockumentary-the-moment\/news\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">second trailer<\/a>.) Cook also did the score for the film, and he&#8217;s just given us a taste of his soundtrack.<\/p>\n<p>Cook&#8217;s new track &#8220;Dread &#8211; The Moment&#8221; it a clubby synth-blare that&#8217;s been transformed into an ominous drone. It threads in samples of &#8220;I Love It,&#8221; the Icona Pop hit that Charli famously co-write and still performs live. I&#8217;d say that &#8220;Dread&#8221; almost feels like the obligatory dramatic movie-trailer remix of &#8220;I Love It,&#8221; except it&#8217;s cooler than that.
