The entertainment industry \u2014 and beyond \u2014 was left reeling after legendary director Rob Reiner and his wife were found stabbed to death in their Hollywood home, with tributes pouring in as soon as the tragic news spread.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Reiner, 78, a beloved Hollywood icon known for his hit films like The Princess Bride and This is Spinal Tap, was found dead alongside his 68-year-old wife, Michele, at their Brentwood mansion on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n
With police still investigating the disturbing murders, actors, directors and others who worked with or were influenced by the All in the Family star.<\/p>\n
\u201cHorrified to hear of the passing of Rob Reiner and his wonderful wife Michelle (sic). So much love to their kids and family,\u201d Elijah Wood posted on X in the wake of the shocking news.<\/p>\n

Actor Paul Walter Hauser wrote a lengthy, heartfelt Instagram post crediting Reiner\u2019s movie A Few Good Men as the reason he became an actor.<\/p>\n
\u201cGrieving the loss of my favourite director of all-time,\u201d Hauser wrote. \u201cA Few Good Men is THE reason I became an actor, and Rob\u2019s filmography behind the camera is THE reason I wanted to direct and still do.\u201d<\/p>\n
Frozen star Josh Gad called Reiner \u201cone of the greatest directors of our time\u201d in a touching post paying tribute to the legendary filmmaker and his wife.<\/p>\n
\u201cRob Reiner and his wife Michelle (sic) were two of the most kind and caring souls you could ever imagine. He cared so much for those who had no voices,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

Police were called to the Hollywood icon\u2019s home on Sunday afternoon, where they discovered the longtime couple, who married in 1989, dead from stab wounds.<\/p>\n
