Famous actors including Ben Stiller and Elijah Wood paid tribute to Rob Reiner and his wife Michele<\/a> after they were found dead in their Los Angeles home on Sunday. <\/p>\n Stiller took to X<\/a> after hearing the news, calling the deaths \u201ca huge loss.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cRob Reiner was one of my favorite directors,\u201d Stiller continued. \u201cHe made some of the most formative movies for my generation. He came out [from] behind a huge comedic shadow of the great Carl Reiner and being a tv actor to being a great director who made an incredible run of movies.\u201d<\/p>\n Reiner\u2019s work includes some of the most memorable movies of the 1980s and \u201890s, including \u201cA Few Good Men,\u201d \u201cWhen Harry Met Sally,\u201d \u201cThe Princess Bride,\u201d and \u201cSpinal Tap.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSpinal Tap is one of the best comedies ever made \u2014 and the list goes on,” Stiller said. \u201cHe was a kind caring person who was really really funny. I didn\u2019t know him well but was always a fan and I feel a real sadness for those who did, and his family.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe Lord of the Rings\u201d actor Wood, who starred in Reiner\u2019s 1994 family movie \u201cNorth,\u201d also expressed his grief amid the news.<\/p>\n \u201cHorrified to hear of the passing of Rob Reiner and his wonderful wife Michele,\u201d he said on X<\/a>. \u201cSo much love to their kids and family.\u201d<\/p>\n
