MUMBAI, India \u2014 Oscar- and Grammy-winning composer A. R. Rahman, who is set to collaborate with Hollywood director Michael Bay, said the coming together of different cinematic worlds opens up fresh creative possibilities for music.<\/p>\n

Michael Bay is making his first creative foray into Indian cinema through a new collaboration with Bhanushali Studios Limited. The yet-untitled project will feature music composed by Rahman and will be directed by Anthony D\u2019Souza. Bay is best known for films such as Armageddon, the Transformers franchise and the A Quiet Place franchise, and is widely regarded for redefining the modern action blockbuster.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the collaboration, Rahman said the fusion of diverse filmmaking sensibilities creates room for deeper musical expression. \u201cWhen different worlds of cinema come together, it opens up a beautiful space for music.
