Whoopi Goldberg<\/a> called out Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s hypocrisy on Monday\u2019s live episode of \u201cThe View<\/a>,\u201d just hours after the president\u2019s wild post<\/a> on the stabbing deaths of director Rob Reiner<\/a> and his wife, Michele Reiner.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The host, who starred in Reiner\u2019s 1996 film \u201cGhosts of Mississippi<\/a>,\u201d paid tribute to the late director, calling him an \u201camazing friend\u201d and remarking on his years of activism before addressing the president\u2019s off-the-rails message.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t understand the man in that White House because he talks so much about Charlie Kirk and caring,\u201d said Goldberg<\/a>, referring to Trump and the GOP\u2019s criticism of those who made light of the right-wing activist\u2019s assassination.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cAnd suddenly, this is what he puts out. Have you no shame? No shame at all? This is \u2014 Can you get any lower? I don\u2019t think so.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In a post to his Truth Social<\/a> platform, Trump suggested Reiner and his wife were murdered because of the director\u2019s \u201cTrump Derangement Syndrome,\u201d a message that drew intense criticism from several Republicans<\/a> as well as the president\u2019s supporters<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Trump has since doubled down on his post<\/a>, telling reporters that he wasn\u2019t a fan of the \u201cderanged\u201d director \u201cin any way, shape or form\u201d due to Reiner\u2019s past criticism of him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Goldberg questioned what Trump had to say about \u201cwhat\u2019s happened around the world\u201d after two deadly mass shootings over the weekend.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWhere is our voice as Americans? Somebody\u2019s got to speak up for us. Our hearts are breaking through all of this \u2014 through Rob, through what\u2019s happened at Bondi Beach, what happened at Brown [University],\u201d she stressed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cAnd you don\u2019t have the time to say as Americans, we hate what\u2019s happening. You ain\u2019t my president, man!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After a commercial break, she issued a correction. On Sunday, Trump offered his \u201cdeepest regards and respects<\/a>\u201d to the victims of the attack on a Hanukkah celebration in Australia as well as victims of the Brown University shooting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cNot what I would like to have heard from you but you did do it so, there you go,\u201d she said of Trump.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
