Rocker Jack White on Monday tore into Donald Trump<\/a> over the president\u2019s widely-condemned response to the deaths of actor-director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Trump sparked outrage across the political spectrum<\/a> after claiming in a vile Truth Social<\/a> post that the death of Reiner, a longtime critic of the president, was \u201creportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Nick Reiner, the son of the couple, has been \u201cbooked for murder<\/a>\u201d in the deaths, said Los Angeles Police Department Chief Jim McDonnell.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n White shared a screenshot<\/a> of Trump\u2019s comments on Instagram and wrote:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cTrump you disgusting, vile, egomaniac, loser, child. Neither he nor any one of his followers can defend this gross, horrible insult to a beautiful artist who gave the world so much. To use someone\u2019s tragic death to promote your own vanity and fascist authoritarian agenda is a corrupt and narcissistic sin. Shame on you trump and anyone who defends this. God bless you Rob Reiner and thank you for what you gave the world. I never even met you and I still stand by you.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n White has previously taken Trump to task<\/a> for his 2024 campaign\u2019s use of \u201cSeven Nation Army<\/a>,\u201d by his former band, The White Stripes, in a video.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cOh….Don\u2019t even think about using my music you fascists,\u201d the musician wrote on Instagram<\/a> at the time. \u201cLaw suit coming from my lawyers about this (to add to your 5 thousand others.)\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n After Trump won back the White House, longtime Trump critic White fumed in another online post<\/a> about how \u201cAmericans chose a known, obvious fascist and now America will get whatever this wannabe dictator wants to enact from here on in.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n He added, \u201cIt\u2019s absolutely dumbfounding that this con man succeeded in pulling the wool over so many Americans eyes not once, but twice.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
