Reba McEntire<\/a> is continuing to keep her former stepson Brandon Blackstock<\/a>\u2018s memory alive in the months after his unexpected death<\/a>.<\/p>\n The actress and singer took to Instagram<\/a> on Tuesday, December 16, to celebrate Blackstock on what would have been his 49th birthday. \u201cHappy birthday Brandon! She was also the stepmother of Narvel\u2019s three kids \u2014 Chassidy, Shawna, and Brandon \u2014 whom he shared with his first wife, Elisa Gayle Ritter.<\/p>\n Fans flooded the comments section of McEntire\u2019s post with their well-wishes. \u201cBeautiful photo! The exes \u2014 who share kids River, 11, and Remy, 9 \u2014 were married from 2013 to 2020 and finalized their divorce in 2022.<\/p>\n McEntire broke her silence<\/a> on Brandon\u2019s death in an August 12 Instagram<\/a> post, writing, \u201cHis struggle is over and he is in eternal peace in God\u2019s presence.
