Rob Reiner\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> son Nick Reiner<\/strong> was seen for the first time in court after his arrest over the murders of his parents, Rob Reiner<\/strong> and Michele Singer Reiner<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nick, 32, was present in the court room on Wednesday, December 17, wearing a suicide vest, according to FOX News<\/a><\/em>. He did not enter a plea. His attorney, Alan Jackson told the court it was \u201ctoo early\u201d for his client to enter a plea, per The New York Times<\/em><\/a>. The outlet reported Nick\u2019s arraignment was continued until Jan. 7.<\/p>\n

Rob and Michele were found dead in their home<\/a> in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles on Sunday, December 14.<\/p>\n

TMZ reported at the time that the Los Angeles Fire Department had been called to the scene in the afternoon to administer \u201cmedical aid.\u201d It was later reported that a 78-year-old man and 68-year-old woman had been [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> subsequently confirmed Nick was arrested<\/a> on a murder charge after his parents were stabbed to death. The Los Angeles Police Department Parker City Jail told Us<\/em> on Monday, December 15, that Nick was being held without bail.<\/p>\n

The following day, Nick failed to appear in court<\/a>, with his attorney Jackson telling reporters on Tuesday, December 16, that he\u2019d yet to be \u201cmedically cleared\u201d to attend a hearing. As a result, Nick\u2019s ability to appear in court was expected to be decided on a \u201cday-to-day\u201d basis.<\/p>\n

Prior to the discovery of Rob and Michele\u2019s bodies, Rob and Nick reportedly had a \u201cvery loud argument\u201d at Conan O\u2019Brien\u2019s<\/strong> holiday party on Saturday, December 13, per TMZ. A source told Us<\/em> that Nick was acting \u201ccreepily\u201d<\/a> at the event, going \u201cup to people\u201d and \u201casking if they were famous.\u201d<\/p>\n
