If you\u2019d like to celebrate the longest night of the year with some local music, here are three options happening at three different venues on Saturday night:<\/p>\n<p>Longtime Bend-based boogie-merchants<b>\u00a0The Mostest\u00a0<\/b>are playing a \u201cMostest Solstice\u201d show at Wildwood Bar &amp; Grill, 550 SW Industrial Way in Bend. Led by guitarist Mark Ransom and bassist Pat Pearsall, the band has been regularly rolling out groovy originals and covers \u2019round the region for a couple of decades. This time, they\u2019ll have Seren Slade on vocals, Dylan Bernal on drums and Patrick Ondrozeck on keys. 7 p.m. Free.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div id=\"attachment_1042749\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-1042749\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Hear long-running Central Oregon rock band The Substitutes Saturday at Commonwealth Pub. (Submitted photo)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>If it\u2019s string-band solstice you seek, get thee to Blacksmith Public House, 308 SW Evergreen Ave. in Redmond, where\u00a0<b>Grits \u2018n\u2019 Gravy<\/b>\u00a0will perform its highly likable brand of acoustic folk and classic country music. A subset of the popular Dry Canyon Stampede, Grits \u2018n\u2019 Gravy features Lilli Worona (fiddle), Mike Biggers (guitar\/vocals), and Kurt Silva (guitar\/vocals). 6:30-10 p.m. Free.<\/p>\n<p>Formed way back in 1996,\u00a0<b>The Substitutes<\/b>\u00a0are one of the longest running rock \u2018n\u2019 roll bands in Central Oregon. For just as long, they\u2019ve been committed to delivering \u201c100% organic, USDA Prime, gluten-free, range-fed rock and roll, with no unpleasant side effects or aftertaste\u201d to anyone within earshot.
