ATG Entertainment (ATGE) has announced a promotion for Erik Newson. His new role is senior vice president, music, comedy and events programming for North America. In this expanded role, Newson will now oversee all ATGE\u2019s U.S. markets and will be responsible for the strategic programming of music and comedy at the national level.<\/p>\n
Since joining ATGE in 2023, Newson has overseen programming for two New Orleans venues, the Saenger Theatre and the Mahalia Jackson Theater. Newson has focused on expanding the organization\u2019s visibility and artist relationships, particularly during the city\u2019s annual Jazz Fest. Newson has managed international tours across multiple genres and maintained long-term partnerships with major agencies such as WME, CAA and UTA.\u00a0<\/p>\n

ATGE owns, operates or programs 72 performance venues across the U.K., U.S. and Germany. The company is an active producer and theater owner on Broadway and in London\u2019s West End. Beyond venue management, ATGE\u2019s in-house production companies actively produce and co-produce shows in these venues.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
