{"id":2203971,"date":"2025-12-18T10:35:04","date_gmt":"2025-12-18T10:35:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/?p=2203971"},"modified":"2025-12-18T10:35:04","modified_gmt":"2025-12-18T10:35:04","slug":"sphere-entertainment-names-felicia-yue-as-evp-and-cto-sphere","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/sphere-entertainment-names-felicia-yue-as-evp-and-cto-sphere\/","title":{"rendered":"Sphere Entertainment Names Felicia Yue as EVP and CTO, Sphere"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"post-294710\">\n<p>Sphere Entertainment Co. announces that <strong>Felicia Yue<\/strong>, a seasoned entertainment technology leader, has joined the company as <strong>Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, Sphere<\/strong>.<span id=\"more-294710\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Yue\u2019s work has impacted how millions of people consume content, and includes developing the National Football League 1st-down line (\u201cthe yellow line\u201d), Major League Baseball\u2019s virtual strike zone (\u201cK Zone\u201d), and celebrity.land\u2019s \u201cMagic Wall\u201d used during election coverage.<\/p>\n<p>As CTO, Yue will lead the technology that powers Sphere\u2019s immersive experiences, and the advanced infrastructure and platforms across our venue and Sphere Studios including display, playback, interactive, and audio.<\/p>\n<p>In this role, she will spearhead the maintenance and continued enhancement of Sphere Studios\u2019 content capabilities and tools that enable the venue\u2019s signature multi-sensory experiences across its Exosphere, Atrium, and media plane.<\/p>\n<p>Yue will be based in Burbank and report to <strong>Jennifer Koester, Sphere\u2019s President and Chief Operating Officer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTechnology is at the core of everything we do at Sphere, and Felicia\u2019s experience will be invaluable as we continue to build on our capabilities as an experiential medium,\u201d says Koester. \u201cFelicia\u2019s track record of developing breakthrough technologies and leading teams that deliver high-impact experiences for audiences will ensure Sphere remains at the forefront of what\u2019s possible in immersive entertainment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThroughout my career I have worked at the intersection of innovation and storytelling, but Sphere presents an opportunity to use technology to push boundaries in a completely unique way,\u201d says Yue. \u201cI look forward to working across the Sphere team to help advance the technologies that make first-of-its-kind experiences possible at Sphere, accelerating our momentum and unlocking new possibilities for the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yue joined Sphere from Infinite Athlete, a sports technology company, where she led product and technical operations. Prior to that, she served as Head of Live Event and Immersive Experiences at Amazon Prime Video where she spearheaded several innovations in customer-facing features seen during live sporting events and movies, including immersive playback features utilizing virtual and augmented reality.
