\n\tTaylor Swift<\/a> and Disney+ announced Thursday morning that the final two episodes of her docuseries \u201cThe End of an Era<\/a>\u201d will go up on the service early on the morning of Dec. 23, rather than Dec. 26, as previously expected.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cAs an early gift to fans around the world, the final two episodes will premiere early on December 23 at 12am PT,\u201d Disney+ announced on social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tTechnically, Disney+ had not officially posted which days the second and third batches of episodes would appear \u2014 only that the first two would go up on Dec. 12, and then the remainder would go up in further two-episode batches over the following weeks. But Disney-owned ABC and other outlets had previously reported that the docuseries would conclude on Dec. 26.<\/p>\n \n\tMoving the airdate up by three days will allow fans to get the docuseries off their desk (to borrow a phrase) before Christmas arrives. As it stood, if the episodes had gone up as expected very late on Christmas night at midnight PT\/3 a.m. ET, many Swifties would have been rather distracted throughout the holiday festivities, staying up late on the 25th waiting for Santa Taylor to arrive. <\/p>\n \n\tAs for the middle batch of Episodes 3 and 4? Those remain scheduled by Disney+ for the expected time \u2014 this Friday morning, the 19th, as the clock strikes midnight on the west coast and 3 a.m. on the east.<\/p>\n \n\tIn a preview of the middle episodes aired on \u201cGood Morning America\u201d Thursday, Swifties got a glimpse of the star talking about introducing a new bodysuit after only having one \u201cReputation\u201d outfit on the Eras Tour<\/a>, and about continuing to perform despite a skin-ripping incident one night mid-performance. \u201cOne time I trip over the hem of my dress, skid the palm of my hand off\u2026 wasn\u2019t late.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tReactions to the first two episodes were strong among fans, and with press, with Variety <\/em>writing, \u201cThe first two installments of the six-episode series are entertaining, absorbing, emotional\u2026 and surprisingly eager to spotlight fan-beloved supporting characters.\u201d<\/p>\n
