She accessorized the look with a silver statement necklace and matching earrings. <\/p>\n Taking to Instagram<\/a> to share highlights from the evening, she praised the film \u2014 which is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Freida McFadden<\/a> \u2014 ahead of its Friday theatrical release. <\/p>\n Donovan described the thriller as \u201cdiabolical and clever, brilliantly crafted,\u201d and \u201cmasterfully acted all around,\u201d adding, \u201cThis film is a scary & funny thriller of a ride that you must go on.\u201d<\/p>\n While Donovan does not appear in the film, her presence on the red carpet was a welcome surprise for fans.<\/p>\n In the comments of her post, fans showered the 54-year-old with compliments. \u201cYou are stunning,\u201d wrote one admirer.
