As he prepares to reopen The Sno Shop<\/strong> at 3655 Perkins Rd. this March, Burdette recently told What Now New Orleans <\/strong>that living across the street from a park with a busy snowball stand opened his eyes to the business opportunity.<\/p>\n \u201cBasically, every time I walk outside, I\u2019m like, man, I don\u2019t know why I don\u2019t have a snowball stand because there\u2019s like 1,000 kids in this parking lot across the street at the ball field,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Citing the stand\u2019s long wait times at The Sno Shop, Burdette said he\u2019s also looking to step up customer service. There will be some new treats on the menu, and Burdette\u2019s band will make an occasional appearance at the stand.
