Is there a truth to it? Why are so many people saying the same thing? Right? So when everything was airing, obviously it was hard to hear and I got kind of in my head about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Savannah Louie in her interview with The Post. <span class=\"credit\">Page Six<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Savannah Louie on \u201cSurvivor 49.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">CBS<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI have a really great community of friends and family who love me and are not afraid to tell me when I am wrong or out of line,\u201d she continued. \u201cAnd I had conversations with so many people who know me in real life about my behavior. No on the show, but just in real life. And honestly, all of them said I was not a mean girl, so I took a lot of solace in that.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Louie clarified that while she doesn\u2019t \u201cwant to discredit\u201d what her castmates said about her <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/12\/01\/entertainment\/survivor-49s-jawan-pitts-in-therapy-over-black-players-being-voted-out\/\">on the show, <\/a>she cares much more about her friends and family\u2019s opinions of her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf people think I\u2019m mean, that\u2019s unfortunate,\u201d Louie said. \u201cI would love to hear examples of that. I think a lot of the behavior I displayed may have been abrasive at times or bold sometimes or aggressive in terms of the game at times, but it wasn\u2019t necessarily mean. There was no ill intent. I\u2019m not trying to make anyone feel small or like they\u2019re not worthy or not important. I just played like a honestly insane person, and I don\u2019t think that\u2019s mean. But that being said, the fact that editing and production could show me as a multidimensional winner, I really appreciated that,\u201d she shared. \u201cAnd I love that people loved me in the season. I also kind of liked that people didn\u2019t love me. I think it shows that I\u2019m a human being. Most people aren\u2019t loved by everybody, and that\u2019s okay.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cSurvivor 49\u201d winner Savannah Louie. <span class=\"credit\">CBS<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>And in just two short months, Louie will be back on television for <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/05\/28\/entertainment\/survivor-season-50-cast-mike-white-and-more-returning\/\">\u201cSurvivor 50.<\/a>\u201d Both Louie and her \u201cSurvivor 49\u201d ally Rizo Velovic will competing alongside icons like Cirie Fields, Colby Donaldson, Ozzy Lusth and Mike White on the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/02\/26\/entertainment\/carolyn-wiger-on-doing-survivor-season-50-after-traitors\/\">milestone season.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was the day after the finale,\u201d she told The Post about getting asked to be on Season 50. \u201cSo hours before we were about to leave back to the US, production calls me into a room and I thought initially they were going to have my parents on the phone for some reason.
