Tom Cruise<\/strong><\/a> puts on quite a show in the trailer for the upcoming movie Digger, and fans have some thoughts to share.<\/p>\n

Viewers had plenty to say after Warner Bros. released the teaser trailer for the movie on Thursday, December 18. While a lot isn\u2019t known about the film\u2019s plot, what is known is that Cruise, 63, appears in some sort of dance scene.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn Digger we trust,\u201d Cruise captioned a post of the trailer he shared via Instagram<\/a> on Thursday. \u201cDIGGER. A comedy of catastrophic proportions. Only in theaters October 2026.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTom Cruise is among one of four celebrities who will be receiving an honorary Oscar at the 16th annual Governors Awards. The ceremony is set to take place on November 16, 2025, at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles. The honorary Oscar is given \u201cto honor extraordinary distinction in lifetime achievement, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The movie is the actor\u2019s first since he starred in franchise installments Mission: Impossible \u2014 The Final Reckoning earlier this year and Top Gun: Maverick in 2022.<\/p>\n

In November, Cruise received an honorary Oscar<\/a> while attending the Governors Awards. The annual ceremony was hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), the governing body of the Oscars, in Hollywood.<\/p>\n
