The 80-year-old rockstar was performing his hit “Do You Think I\u2019m Sexy?\u201d at his show in Athens, Greece last Saturday, Dec. 13 when he confronted what appeared to be a rowdy fan in the front row.<\/p>\n
\u201cOut the [expletive] way,\u201d Stewart said, according to viral TikTok<\/a>. \u201cYou\u2019re spoiling the show for everybody. Out the way. Leave. We don\u2019t need you here.\u201d<\/p>\n The Grammy Award winner added, \u201cAll she\u2019s doing is putting up a sign. It\u2019s not hurting you, is it, mate?\u201d<\/p>\n The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame<\/a> inductee then turned back to his band and started the song over. The spectator in question appeared to be arguing with another concertgoer who was holding up a sign, according to the Greek Reporter<\/a>. <\/p>\n Online reaction to the concert clip was divided. Some users felt Stewart\u2019s outburst was unnecessary, with one commenter writing, \u201cabout time he retired.\u201d However, many fans rallied behind the \u201cHave I Told You Lately\u201d singer.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s his show. He can do whatever he\u2019d like. Go Rod!!!\u201d read one comment. <\/p>\n Another wrote: \u201cHe has a point though, never been Rod Stewart\u2019s biggest fan but good on him. Those security at gigs can be pathetic.\u201d<\/p>\n Stewart\u2019s performance was part of his \u201cOne Last Time\u201d world tour, which is scheduled to run through August 2026. Several U.S. dates remain on the calendar.<\/p>\n The artist previously announced that he intends to scale back his demanding schedule. Stewart revealed<\/a> last year that his current itinerary would mark \u201cthe end of large-scale world tours\u201d while assuring fans he has \u201cno desire to retire.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI love what I do and I do what I love,\u201d Stewart said in an Instagram post<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m fit, have a full head of hair and can run 100 meters in 18 seconds at the jolly old age of 79.\u201d<\/p>\n
