\n\tEXCLUSIVE: <\/strong>Gordon Ramsay<\/a> is entering the scriped TV game, serving up a Rachel Bilson<\/a>-starring drama about female empowerment based on The Sharper Your Knife, the Less You Cry <\/em>by Kathleen Flinn.<\/p>\n \n\tThe world-famous chef has landed his first EP credit on the Fox<\/a> Entertainment Studios development, a self-autobiographical tale about Flinn\u2019s time at a Paris cooking school. <\/p>\n \n\tStephanie Danler<\/a>, who is penning Apple TV and A24\u2019s <\/a>Motherf*cker <\/em>pilot, is writing the adaptation.<\/p>\n \n\tThe book follows Kathleen Flinn, a recently laid-off middle manager who decides to cash in her savings and start fresh with a new beginning abroad in cooking school. Trading boardrooms for burners and office politics for high-pressure kitchens, Kathleen embarks on a funny, heartfelt journey of self-discovery, the logline reads. The book is set in Paris.<\/p>\n \n\tRamsay is EPing with his Studio Ramsay<\/a> Chief Creative Officer Lisa Edwards, Flinn and Olivia Allen. The show is in development with Fox Entertainment Studios<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tThe O.C. <\/em>star Bilson is a big draw for when the show starts being shopped to buyers. She previously worked with Fox on Howard Gordon\u2019s Accused, <\/em>the 2023 crime anthology. Other credits include ABC\u2019s Take Two <\/em>and CMT\u2019s Nashville, <\/em>while she hosts the Broad Ideas <\/em>podcast with best friend Allen. Danler, meanwhile, is the author of Sweetbitter, <\/em>which was made into a Starz TV series that she show-ran. She is now working on <\/a> \n\tStudio Ramsay, a JV with Fox, has made thousands of hours of TV, mostly for Fox, including the likes of Kitchen Nightmares <\/em>and Gordon Ramsay\u2019s Secret Service. <\/em>It has of late been expanding to other areas with Ramsay behind rather than in front of the camera, such as Apple TV\u2019s Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars<\/em>, hosted by Jesse Burgess.
