Nick Reiner<\/strong>\u2019s arrest for the murder of his parents, Rob Reiner<\/strong><\/a> and Michele Singer Reiner<\/strong>, can be seen in new footage.<\/p>\n Local news outlet NBC4 Los Angeles<\/a> posted new surveillance footage taken from a convenience store near the Exposition Park neighborhood. Nick, 32, wore jeans, sneakers and a baseball cap as he entered the store<\/a>. He calmly walked around the market as he appeared to purchase a beverage.<\/p>\n After walking out of the store, Nick crossed the street. As he continued walking, several police cars arrived and surrounded him. Nick put his hands up when confronted by the authorities.<\/p>\n Rob and Michele were found dead at their Brentwood, California, home on Sunday, December 14. They were 78 and 70, respectively.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Michele and Rob Reiner,\u201d a spokesperson for the Reiner family said in a statement to Variety at the time. \u201cWe are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n Rob and Michele\u2019s official cause of death was due to \u201cmultiple sharp force injuries.\u201d Their deaths were ruled as a homicide.<\/p>\n Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed on Monday, December 15, that Nick was arrested on a murder charge. According to the Los Angeles Police Department Parker City Jail, Nick is being held without bail.<\/p>\n Nick was later charged with two counts of first-degree murder. He faces life in prison without parole or the death penalty if convicted, and his arraignment is set for January 7, 2026.<\/p>\n In addition to Nick, Rob and Michele shared kids Jake, 34, and Romy, 27. Rob also adopted daughter Tracy, 61, during his first marriage to Penny Marshall.<\/p>\n
