\n\tWhat seems to begin as an EDM track quickly gives way to a sensational merengue that invites you to dance and have fun in \u201cHoy se Guaya.\u201d In just 2:55 minutes, Arc\u00e1ngel transports us to a vibrant beach atmosphere with touches of electronic pop, vibrant trumpets, and percussion, while celebrating the joy of breaking free from routine at a tropical party. \u201cHoy se Guaya\u201d\u2014which loosely translates to dancing closely\u00a0<\/strong>together \u2014 is the second single from his upcoming album\u00a0La Octava Maravilla<\/em>, scheduled for release in 2026. This isn\u2019t the first time the Puerto Rican reggaet\u00f3n icon has ventured into merengue. \n\tAccompanied by a traditional Sinaloan band, Grupo Firme and Lenin Ram\u00edrez make the tuba and trumpets sound even louder with their powerful vocals on this heartbreak song, which, as is customary when they collaborate, speaks of profound pain over someone who hasn\u2019t kept their promises in a relationship. \u201cGo away because I\u2019m completely fed up with you\/ Go wherever you can fit your excuses\/ I don\u2019t want you to ever look for me again, and I hope you keep that promise,\u201d they sing in this song written by C\u00e9sar Robles. In true Crespo fashion, the song is an infectious merengue fused with electronic music. Be\u00e9le, on the other hand, adds his captivating deep vocals and a touch of reggaet\u00f3n. Produced by Colombian hitmakers Mauricio Rengifo and Andr\u00e9s Torres, \u201cLa Patida\u201d has flirtatious lyrics about a girl who\u2019s the center of attention at the party. \u201cThis collaboration was born in Bogot\u00e1 earlier this year [\u2026] I\u2019m thrilled to collaborate with such a young and brilliant artist. Co-produced with Chilean beatmaker Red Fingers (Bad Bunny, Rauw Alejandro), the song brims with flirtation and liberation, channeling dance floor euphoria with electro-tinged rhythms and unapologetic swagger. \u201cMami, actualiza, ma, actualiza\/ Ese cuerpo, uy, qu\u00e9 delicia,\u201d<\/em> she teases, commanding listeners to move like no one\u2019s watching. The guitar, drums, bass and the indispensable accordion in this genre provide the perfect touch for the interpretation of this story about a woman who suggests to her partner that they separate, and he pleads for another chance, unable to understand the reason for her decision.
