Legendary metal titans, Megadeth, have released their new single and music video, \u201cLet There Be Shred\u201d, from their upcoming self-titled album. Check out the video below and stream the single here<\/a>.<\/p>\n The track is a rapid-fire manifesto with jaw-dropping riffs and \u201ca tsunami of sound,\u201d to quote a lyric from the song. Directed by Keith Leman, the video features Dave Mustaine participating in a mixed martial arts battle alongside live performance footage that highlights the track\u2019s fretboard ferocity.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen Megadeth started we said we would be fast and furious\u2026we said so on the flyers we handed out,\u201d Dave Mustaine says. \u201cThis song is fast and furious. Know it! It has a very hooky chorus that draws you in and you can\u2019t help but play air guitar and headbang to this one.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s the second video from the new record that we made with Keith [Leman], who also directed \u2018I Don\u2019t Care.\u2019 It was a blast to make and it\u2019s a tribute to my first Sensei, Benny \u2018The Jet\u2019 Urquidez and my Professor, Reggie Almieda. Everyone on the set was really stoked to see each of us do our stunts.
