They shared the news in a joint Instagram post, featuring a handwritten letter signed by each of them this week.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is with a clear mind and a loving heart that we have made the decision to end our marriage of almost 15 years,\u201d the note read. <\/b><\/a>\u201cWe have come to realize after a great deal of deep soul searching that we are no longer suited to be married to one another. This is a very big decision which we have not taken lightly.<\/p>\n \u201cAs we move forward in our next chapter in life, we look forward to continuing to co-parent our 4 amazing children,\u201d the letter continued. \u201cAnd we will definitely remain great friends. We look to our future with optimism, with love, and with great respect for one another.\u201d<\/p>\n They also provided a message in the caption along with the letter.<\/p>\n \u201cThank you for your continued support and understanding as we navigate this new chapter,\u201d that read. \u201cWe would like to share that we are all doing well and have quietly been separated now for a year and a half. <\/p>\n \u201cPlease don\u2019t spend your time worrying about us and our children,\u201d the statement continued. \u201cHowever, we would greatly appreciate your continued kindness moving forward and ask that you respect the privacy of our family.\u201d<\/p>\n
