Prince George has continued a tradition started by his late
\ngrandmother, Diana, Princess of Wales, with a visit to The
\nPassage.<\/p>\n

The young prince joined his father, Prince William, on Tuesday
\nto help prepare for the homeless charity\u2019s Christmas party in
\nLondon.<\/p>\n

A video released
\nby Kensington Palace showed Prince George arriving with his father
\nto help set tables, prepare food, decorate the Christmas tree\u2014which
\nhad been donated from Westminster Abbey following the Together at
\nChristmas carol service\u2014and put together care packages all before
\nthe lunch began.<\/h5>\n

Speaking to reporters afterwards, Mick Clarke, the chief
\nexecutive of The Passage, said that Prince George was keen to
\nhelp.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was well up for it. Absolutely. Very much like his dad
\nin terms of he just wanted to crack on, which was lovely,\u201d<\/em>
\nClarke said.<\/p>\n

He added that William is \u201calways very relaxed at The
\nPassage. It always kind of feels like a family, really. But it
\nalso, I think, shows how relaxed George was. And I think that was
\none of the nicest things.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Prince George also signed The Passage\u2019s guestbook, adding his
\nname to the page that features the signatures of Diana and William.
\nClarke called the moment a \u201cproud dad moment\u201d<\/em> for William
\nto show his son the legacy started by his own mother.<\/p>\n

In a documentary last year, Prince William: We Can End
\nHomelessness<\/em>,
\nWilliam spoke of his mother\u2019s visits to The Passage<\/a>. \u201cI
\nmust ave been about 11, I think, probably, at the time. Maybe 10.
\nI\u2019d never been to anything like that before. And I was a bit
\nanxious as to what to expect.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cMy mother went about her usual part of making everyone feel
\nrelaxed, and having a laugh and joking with everyone.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The future king recalled feeling empathetic for those using The
\nPassage\u2019s services, but realised, during his visit that \u201cit was
\nincredible how happy an environment it was.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
