Gisele B\u00fcndchen<\/a>\u00a0and Joaquim Valente<\/a> are married!<\/p>\n The Brazilian fashion model and the Jiu-Jitsu instructor tied the knot in a ceremony in Surfside, Florida, on Dec. 3, according to marriage records reviewed by PEOPLE. TMZ<\/a> was first to report the news.<\/p>\n A rep for B\u00fcndchen did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.<\/p>\n B\u00fcndchen, 45, and Valente previously welcomed a baby boy together<\/a> in early 2025, according to reports. The pair were\u00a0first spotted together<\/a>\u00a0in November 2022, when they visited Provincia de Puntarenas (a province located on Costa Rica’s coast) with her two kids.<\/p>\n The model originally denied a romantic relationship with her trainer, but a love connection later blossomed between the pair. In February 2024, a source confirmed B\u00fcndchen and Valente’s relationship to PEOPLE and noted that their friendship turned into something more romantic.<\/p>\n “They started out as great friends first. She’s very private about this and wanted to keep it quiet while they got to know each other,\u201d\u00a0a source said at the time.<\/p>\n A second source echoed the first, noting that Valente \u201cwas a huge comfort” for B\u00fcndchen “while she went through her divorce” with Brady. She and the former NFL star filed for divorce<\/a>\u00a0on Oct. 28, 2022, after 13 years of marriage.<\/p>\n \u201cJoaquim is a great guy,” the inside added. “He is down to earth, kind and inspiring. Gisele was hesitant about dating after the divorce. It’s been very natural for her to date Joaquim.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThey come from similar backgrounds. They both left Brazil very young. They have both created amazing lives for themselves in the U.S.,” the insider explained to PEOPLE.\u00a0“They both love Miami, but also enjoy traveling. They both enjoy healthy living. Gisele’s in a great space. She is happy and very much enjoying life. Joaquim is perfect for her.”<\/p>\n
