But in the latest episode of her The End of an Era<\/a><\/em> doc series, the singer offers a rare glimpse into what her love life looked like on the Eras Tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tAs Swift shares clips from her The Tortured Poets Department<\/a><\/em> recording sessions, she reflects on, \u201cfeeling like I\u2019m not a person, like I\u2019m just this big conglomerate that no one sees as a real human being,\u201d she says, and pointedly adds, \u201cespecially not men that I date.\u201d Since the album\u2019s release in 2024, fans believe<\/a> some of the songs on TTPD<\/a><\/em> reference both Swift\u2019s six-year relationship with Joe Alwyn<\/a> and brief fling with Matty Healy<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tThe whole process of dating as a famous superstar had Taylor feeling hopeless about love. \u201cThere is no one for me in the world,\u201d she remembers feeling while writing TTPD<\/em> \u2014 which she worked on during the first leg of the Eras Tour back in 2023. <\/p>\n \n\tEven as the singer recorded an entirely new body of work (31 songs in total) while on tour, she emphasizes that the challenges of her life were much more personal. \u201cThere were points in this tour where the tour was really the only thing keeping me going in my life,\u201d Swift says. \u201cI went through two breakups on the first half of this tour and that\u2019s a lot of breakups, actually.\u201d Swift continues as a clip of her acoustic rendition of Midnights<\/em> breakup song \u201cHits Different\u201d plays in the background: \u201cThe tour has never been the hard thing in my life, the tour has been the thing that has allowed me to find purpose outside of the shit that was going wrong in my life.
